Suffering and Christ’s intentions between the lines: how to see through the eyes of one Man on the Cross

What is suffering? What does it mean to suffer well?

The answer is found below:

1. No it does not resonate with me because I don't fully understand suffering well. 

2. A time when God used my suffering to comfort someone else was when I struggled heart to heart with my past boyfriend who was married and I quickly found out that other women needed the advice I could give them about growing in the faith and remaining single until God calls you to marriage. 

3. Suffering can make me more Christlike by reminding me of how I am strong when I am weak. 

Psalm 107:1-43 NIV

[1] Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. [2] Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story---those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, [3] those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south. Isaiah 53:1-12 NIV

Romans 5:1-5 NIV

[1] Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, [2] through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. [3] Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; [4] perseverance, character; and character, hope. [5] And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Philippians 3:7-11 NIV

[7] But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. [21] To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
