Todos luchamos con el pecado. No nos gusta reconocerlo, preferiríamos ocultarlo, pero finalmente debemos enfrentar nuestros pecados. O seremos consumidos por ellos.
El pecado alimenta un ciclo peligroso en nuestras vidas. Deseamos algo que va en contra de la voluntad de Dios para nuestras vidas y nos movemos hacia él. En la desobediencia, pecamos. Y luego anunciamos lo que siempre acompaña al pecado: nos inscribimos para un eventual sufrimiento.
Entonces, ¿cómo podemos detener el pecado muerto en sus pistas? Humildemente reconocemos nuestra necesidad de Dios y le preguntamos si alguno de estos puede conducir al pecado.
Dios, coloco mis deseos ante ti y te pregunto si alguno de estos podría conducir al pecado. Solo quiero lo mejor para mi vida. En el nombre de Jesus. Amén.

The Struggle with Sin: God help me out of this hole I dug myself into
We all struggle with sin. We don't like to acknowledge it, we would rather hide it, but eventually we must confront our sins. Or we will be consumed by them.
Sin feeds a dangerous cycle in our lives. We desire something that goes against God's will for our lives and we move towards it. In disobedience, we sin. And then we usher in what always accompanies sin: we sign up for eventual suffering.
So how do we stop sin dead in its tracks? We humbly acknowledge our need for God and we ask him if any of these can lead to sin.
God, I place my desires before you and I ask you if any of these could lead to sin. I only want what your best is for my life. In Jesus name. Amen.

Cultivating Growth and development in your faith and mine
Remember when I said I would talk about weeding out the bad in our lives and cultivating the good? My turn to talk this time. Here we go.
Weeding. Seems easy right? I mean come on! We can carry out the bad stuff; it's just that simple right?
Reality check: it is not easy!
Let me begin with two Friday's ago when I truly came to the Cross and accepted God's gift of Salvation through his Son Jesus and received him as Lord and Savior into my life! Changes has been made and it is obvious to anyone who does not know Him as such!
My thinking has changed, my attitude has completely changed and finally, I have the full mindset of Christ.
Who knew that religion could be such fun? Actually no it's not religion.
This time it's FAITH! I mean it this time! I am not lying to anyone!
Coming forward at age eight at a baptist church isn't enough because I never fully surrendered my complete life to Christ!
Now you get it? So let's talk cultivating versus weeding.
To cultivate a plant means to prune the plant meaning you clean it first then you take it and move it away to make room for more growth. As a result of the growth, you learn more in the process. This is called getting things together and pruning our garden(s). To prune means to clean. Cleaning is great, but it takes time.
Now for the weeding.
Here is the hard part: weeding out the bad!
Okay. I will admit that weeding out the bad is tough!
Here is what I mean: when we weed, we are getting rid of (completely) our bad thoughts, attitudes and actions. We need God to get rid of the bad ideas and reactions as well. This is hard but TOUGH LOVE! This is life!

People Pleasing and how to avoid it: Reality check!

Sometimes, it is painful because you don’t want to admit that you want other people to like you.
What I mean by liking you is how it is people pleasing. People pleasing is very dangerous to the Christian faith.
Here’s the deal: there are people out there who will not be pleased no matter how many times you refuse to say yes, and there are other people who will not stop liking you even if you say no to them.

Entrega de la manera no tan fácil: ¿Qué parte de tu vida necesitas dejar ir?
Esto es cierto si está contando el número de canciones o rap que oigo día a día.
Esta es una respuesta a una pregunta de estudio bíblico que pensé que podría compartir con ustedes:
Ellos creen que hay un Dios, pero no lo siguen. Por lo tanto, ellos creen que hay maneras de la música, por ejemplo, puede satisfacer su hambre de un cumplimiento que se encuentra sólo en Cristo Jesús mismo. Ellos también creen que no serán juzgados porque "sólo las personas malas y terribles" van al Infierno y son juzgadas y no ellas.
Esto es cierto que la mayoría de la gente de hoy cree que hay un Dios, pero NO lo adoran ni rendir homenaje a Él, que es un término bíblico usado para mostrar adoración / honor.
Para adorar, necesitas caer en tu rostro delante del Señor Dios Todopoderoso y darle TODO lo que tienes o piensas que necesitas.
Adorar significa rendirse. Renunciar significa dejar ir todo lo que tienes. La palabra griega para rendición es: παράδοση y la definición de rendición se encuentra aquí: Definiciones de rendición

Surrendering The Not-so Easy Way: What part of your Life do you need to let go of?
This is true if you are counting the number of songs or rap that I hear day to day.
Here is an answer to a bible study question that I thought I might share with you:
They believe that there is a God but do not follow Him. Therefore, they believe that there ways of music, for example, can satisfy their hunger for a fulfillment found only in Christ Jesus himself. They believe also, that they will not be judged because "only bad and terrible people" go to Hell and are Judged and not them.
This is true that most people today believe there is a God, but do NOT worship Him or pay homage to Him which is a biblical term used to display worship/honor.
To worship, you need to fall on your face before the Lord God Almighty and give Him EVERYTHING you have or think that you need.
To worship means to surrender. To surrender means to let go of everything that you have. The Greek word for surrender is: παράδοση and the definition of surrender is found here: Definitions of surrender

cease resistance to an enemy or opponent and submit to their authority.
Biblically speaking, when we surrender, we feel a HUGE sense of peace that is only found in Christ Jesus Himself.

La culpa no viene con un Nametag: ¿Cómo evitar culpar a otros cuando en realidad no es su culpa
Alguien fue uno día café que tiene con su amigo, cuando se dio cuenta de que estaba teniendo un dolor de cabeza del perfume de su amiga. Ella le dijo que era alérgica al olor, pero su amiga le dijo que no estaba usando el perfume.
¿Te suena familiar? ¿Alguna vez se culpa a otros por sus problemas?

Lo hago también! Tal vez es hora de que dejemos injustamente culpar a otros por algo que no hicieron cuando la realidad es que es nosotros!

Señor Jesús, te damos gracias porque podemos llegar antes y pedir perdón a nuestro Padre a través de usted. Veinte segundos a convertirse orgullosos de la manera correcta o incorrecta, usted decide
Seamos realistas, todos hemos estado allí. ¿Dónde? La Biblia nos da una pista a continuación:
1. Las cosas que me enorgullezco de mis capacidades y son gente que me rodea. Sí tengo problemas para creer que puedo hacer una diferencia en mi comunidad porque yo estoy creyendo una mentira que yo pueda llegar a todos en el mundo.

1. Las cosas que me enorgullezco de mis capacidades y son gente que me rodea. Sí tengo problemas para creer que puedo hacer una diferencia en mi comunidad porque yo estoy creyendo una mentira que yo pueda llegar a todos en el mundo.
2. He llegado a más de ocho mil personas con mis blogs y estoy haciendo un impacto en todos los que leen los blogs.
3. Estoy menos orgullosos por el trabajo de Dios en sabiendo que sólo Él está usando yo y nadie más está usando mi. Me siento más humilde de darse cuenta de que Él es el Dios que se va a seguir para ser glorificado a través de este ministerio!

Let's face it, we've all been there. Where? The bible gives us a clue below:
1. The things I take pride in are my abilities and people around me. Yes I have trouble believing that I can make a difference in my community because I am believing a lie that I can reach everyone in the world.
2. I have reached over eight thousand people with my blogs and I am making an impact on everyone who reads those blogs.
3. I am less proud through God's work in knowing that only He is using me and nobody else is using me. I feel more humble in realizing that He is the Godhead that is going to continue to be glorified through this ministry!

Los diamantes y la belleza de ser conformada en uno de cada polvo
Él está haciendo diamantes de nosotros! Los diamantes son bellas cuando están hechas de personas en términos de dejarnos ser refinado por amor como dice la canción.
Aquí es un devocional que podría estar relacionado con el tema:
1. La muerte ha tocado mi vida a través de mí llorando en la iglesia al escuchar el sermón de un domingo por la mañana. Me acordé de la muerte de mi padre a través de mensaje de pastor de Kevin y lloraba en voz alta.
2. Dios ha hecho esto por mí recordando el hecho de que voy a ser resucitado de un día desde la muerte en un abrir y cerrar de ojos.
3. Puedo ayudar a mi amigo Kenza hablando comodidad en su vida y que le recordaba de Cristo y su amor por primera vez.

Diamonds are forever beautiful and costly. In order for a diamond ring for instance to be made, it has to be crushed and burned in the fire!
Wow what a beautiful picture of us as Christians being formed as diamonds out of dust! Hope and pray you feel this way towards every situation in life.

realidad de ver las cosas a través de los ojos de Cristo
¿Hay palabras negativas que la gente ha dicho a usted o sobre usted que han hecho imposible para usted a creer que Dios puede hacer grandes cosas a través de usted?
1. Las mujeres de mi comunidad que están teniendo un impacto son Kay y Sherry y Peggy.
2. Tengo una influencia en Jacquie y Miranda.
3. puedo inspirar a los que me rodean, diciéndoles más de Jesús y menos de blogs!
Éxodo 1: 15-17 NVI
[15] El rey de Egipto a las parteras de las hebreas, cuyos nombres eran Sifra y Púa, [16] "Cuando usted está ayudando a las hebreas en el parto en el taburete de la entrega, si usted ve que el bebé es un niño, lo matan ; pero si es una niña, dejarla vivir "[17] Pero las parteras temían a Dios y no hicieron como el rey de Egipto les había dicho que hicieran.; que permiten vivir a los niños.
Mateo 10: 32-33 NVI
[32] "El que me confiese delante de los hombres, yo también le confesaré delante de mi Padre que está en los cielos. [33] Pero cualquiera que me niegue delante de los hombres, yo también le negaré delante de mi Padre en el cielo.
