Suffering and Christ’s intentions between the lines: how to see through the eyes of one Man on the Cross

What is suffering? What does it mean to suffer well?
The answer is found below:
1. No it does not resonate with me because I don't fully understand suffering well.
2. A time when God used my suffering to comfort someone else was when I struggled heart to heart with my past boyfriend who was married and I quickly found out that other women needed the advice I could give them about growing in the faith and remaining single until God calls you to marriage.
3. Suffering can make me more Christlike by reminding me of how I am strong when I am weak.

Psalm 107:1-43 NIV
[1] Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. [2] Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story---those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, [3] those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south. [4] Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle. [5] They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away. [6] Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. [7] He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle. [8] Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, [9] for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. [10] Some sat in darkness, in utter darkness, prisoners suffering in iron chains, [11] because they rebelled against God's commands and despised the plans of the Most High. [12] So he subjected them to bitter labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help. [13] Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. [14] He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains. [15] Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, [16] for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron. [17] Some became fools through their rebellious ways and suffered affliction because of their iniquities. [18] They loathed all food and drew near the gates of death. [19] Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. [20] He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. [21] Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind. [22] Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy. [23] Some went out on the sea in ships; they were merchants on the mighty waters. [24] They saw the works of the Lord, his wonderful deeds in the deep. [25] For he spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves. [26] They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away. [27] They reeled and staggered like drunkards; they were at their wits' end. [28] Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. [29] He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. [30] They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. [31] Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind. [32] Let them exalt him in the assembly of the people and praise him in the council of the elders. [33] He turned rivers into a desert, flowing springs into thirsty ground, [34] and fruitful land into a salt waste, because of the wickedness of those who lived there. [35] He turned the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs; [36] there he brought the hungry to live, and they founded a city where they could settle. [37] They sowed fields and planted vineyards that yielded a fruitful harvest; [38] he blessed them, and their numbers greatly increased, and he did not let their herds diminish. [39] Then their numbers decreased, and they were humbled by oppression, calamity and sorrow; [40] he who pours contempt on nobles made them wander in a trackless waste. [41] But he lifted the needy out of their affliction and increased their families like flocks. [42] The upright see and rejoice, but all the wicked shut their mouths. [43] Let the one who is wise heed these things and ponder the loving deeds of the Lord.
Isaiah 53:1-12 NIV
[1] Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? [2] He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. [3] He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. [4] Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. [5] But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. [6] We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. [7] He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. [8] By oppression and judgment he was taken away. Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished. [9] He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. [10] Yet it was the Lord's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. [11] After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied ; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. [12] Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Romans 5:1-5 NIV
[1] Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, [2] through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. [3] Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; [4] perseverance, character; and character, hope. [5] And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
Philippians 3:7-11 NIV
[7] But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. [8] What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ [9] and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ---the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. [10] I want to know Christ---yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, [11] and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.
1 Peter 2:21 NIV
[21] To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.

You might be familiar with hearts right?

That is LOVE in its truest and honest form!

Salmos 112: 1-10 NVI
Romanos 11:33 NVI

[3] Wealth and riches are in their houses, and their righteousness endures forever. [4] Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."
John 7:38 NIV
[38] Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them."

I hope you find pure joy and God's love in the midst of whatever you are going through.

Blessings!

¡Bendiciones!

The Power of our words: our choice

Have your words ever, be honest, cut someone so DEEP?
How do you feel after someone has cut you with their words?

Here is an example of how words can cut deep:
1. My words damaged someone's spirit when I got Online and slandered my care provider's daughter about her braces and my previous orthodontist.
2. The tone coming out of my mouth has been both nice and evil. This reflects in my heart that I need to be kind to others even when it is not my business.
3. God's word has proven this way by reminding me that when I sin, Jesus paid the death penalty for the punishment for my sins, therefore I can rest assured that I am forgiven both past present and future as I walk with him.

Ecclesiastes 5:2-3 NIV
[2] Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few. [3] A dream comes when there are many cares, and many words mark the speech of a fool.
Ecclesiastes 10:12-14 NIV
[12] Words from the mouth of the wise are gracious, but fools are consumed by their own lips. [13] At the beginning their words are folly; at the end they are wicked madness--- [14] and fools multiply words. No one knows what is coming---who can tell someone else what will happen after them?
James 3:1-12 NIV
[1] Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. [2] We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. [3] When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. [4] Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. [5] Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. [6] The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one's life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. [7] All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, [8] but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. [9] With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God's likeness. [10] Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. [11] Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? [12] My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.
Colossians 4:6 NIV
[6] Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

Proverbs 18:21 NIV
[21] The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

If you have EVER gossiped or slandered ANYONE, come to the river of life and be washed clean of your sin!
Jesus LOVES you so much that he took the penalty for your sins on the cross.

Lord Jesus we thank you for the fact that we can come before you boldly to your Throne of Grace and be cleansed of our sins. Please help us not to slander others and give us all strength to make a difference by saying kind things to others. Now Lord to you be the glory. Thy will be done. In Jesus name, amen.

Blessings!

¡Bendiciones!

Gossip is NOT an option: what to do when a person wrongs you regardless

Many of us know what gossip does to a person whether slave or free.
Proverbs 11:13 NIV
[13] A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.
Proverbs 16:28 NIV
[28] A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.
Proverbs 18:8 NIV
[8] The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to the inmost parts.
Proverbs 20:19 NIV
[19] A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid anyone who talks too much.
Proverbs 26:20 NIV
[20] Without wood a fire goes out; without a gossip a quarrel dies down.
Proverbs 26:22 NIV
[22] The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to the inmost parts.
Romans 1:29 NIV
[29] They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips,
2 Corinthians 12:20 NIV
[20] For I am afraid that when I come I may not find you as I want you to be, and you may not find me as you want me to be. I fear that there may be discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder.

1. I know that my mom has been hurt by gossip and harsh words.
2. Honestly a six.
3. I will begin to use my tongue for healing rather than for harm by not saying harsh things and getting mad easily.

Psalm 52:1-5 NIV
[1] Why do you boast of evil, you mighty hero? Why do you boast all day long, you who are a disgrace in the eyes of God? [2] You who practice deceit, your tongue plots destruction; it is like a sharpened razor. [3] You love evil rather than good, falsehood rather than speaking the truth. [4] You love every harmful word, you deceitful tongue! [5] Surely God will bring you down to everlasting ruin: He will snatch you up and pluck you from your tent; he will uproot you from the land of the living.
Proverbs 11:11-13 NIV
[11] Through the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, but by the mouth of the wicked it is destroyed. [12] Whoever derides their neighbor has no sense, but the one who has understanding holds their tongue. [13] A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.
Proverbs 12:17-19 NIV
[17] An honest witness tells the truth, but a false witness tells lies. [18] The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. [19] Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.
James 1:22-26 NIV
[22] Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. [23] Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror [24] and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. [25] But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it---not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it---they will be blessed in what they do. [26] Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.

When we disown someone behind their back whether inexcusable or rude or something they did, it is not okay to talk about what they did because: that is GOSSIP!
Try this the next time someone does or says something you don't approve of: try confronting that person(s) right then and there instead of waiting at the last minute to resolve the issue. This way, you don't gossip and thus impose harm among you and that person(s).
I garuntee you: it will work!

Hope and pray this helps!

Blessings!

¡Usted no será decepcionado! ¡Lo digo en serio!

Suyo en Cristo,
Tatiana

Fame and Fortune Are NOT the ultimate themes in Life: Find Him here

Have you ever wondered what being famous is like?
The photo above is my slogan for fame.
But what I am driving at is this: if Jesus were to come back today, what would he find you doing?
Yesterday's devotional should answer the question:
1. Enjoyable, delightful and interesting.
2. Yes, delighting in God's word attracts me to the bible. Waking up in the morning and going about my day motivate me to spending time in God's word.
3. My spiritual life is growing in a way that is prosperous and fruitful.

Psalm 112:1-10 NIV
[1] Praise the Lord. Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands. [2] Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. [3] Wealth and riches are in their houses, and their righteousness endures forever. [4] Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous. [5] Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice. [6] Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. [7] They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. [8] Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes. [9] They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor, their righteousness endures forever; their horn will be lifted high in honor. [10] The wicked will see and be vexed, they will gnash their teeth and waste away; the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.
Psalm 119:9-16 NIV
[9] How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. [10] I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. [11] I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. [12] Praise be to you, Lord; teach me your decrees. [13] With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth. [14] I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. [15] I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. [16] I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NIV
[7] "But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. [8] They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."
John 7:38 NIV
[38] Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them."
Revelation 7:17 NIV
[17] For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; 'he will lead them to springs of living water.' 'And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.' "
Romans 11:33 NIV
[33] Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!

You're probably thinking: what does she mean by this post about fame?

Here is an explanation. Make Jesus famous not you! Don't gloat about how much you want to post about him, post about what he has done for you and those around you!
So what are you waiting for? Testify the Love of Christ Jesus!
Go for it! You will not be disappointed! I mean it!

Yours in Christ,
Tatiana

Listo? Vamos a cavar profundo!

Heart of steel versus a heart of stone: how do you connect with yourgod?

This is the part where I get personal with you guys!
Ready? Let's dig deep!
Since the answers to the devotional below, I have learned not to tell everyone my business because, well, no one needs to know everything! Right?

1. When I suffer, I tend to talk to everyone about what is going on in my life in hopes they would understand.
2. My pastor in the past, has been able to comfort me when I am suffering because as though he is a father to me, I remember every single message he delivers to my church.
3. Yes, I believe he can speak to me personally. I need to stop telling everyone my personal business.

Nahum 1:3-5 NIV
[3] The Lord is slow to anger but great in power; the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished. His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet. [4] He rebukes the sea and dries it up; he makes all the rivers run dry. Bashan and Carmel wither and the blossoms of Lebanon fade. [5] The mountains quake before him and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, the world and all who live in it.
2 Peter 1:16-21 NIV
[16] For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. [17] He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." [18] We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain. [19] We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. [20] Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation of things. [21] For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
Job 38:1 NIV
[1] Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm. He said:
Job 38:12 NIV
[12] "Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place,

You understand what I mean right? Some of us are chatter boxes when we suffer. We need not to do this because one day someone could take our personal business and dump it on the world and before you know it, it's public!
So, my strongest suggestion is to read the verses above and even James chapter 3!
James 3:1-18 NIV
[13] Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. [14] But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. [15] Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. [16] For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. [17] But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. [18] Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

I pray this helps. Have a good Black Friday!

Blessings!

Entonces, ¿cómo vas a vivir tu vida?

¡Bendiciones!

Baptizing Someone is NOT salvation: coming to the Cross to receive Christ is!

Being a new creature in Christ can mean a lot!
Recently, I received Christ as my Lord and Savior by coming to the Cross and confessing my sins.
Reality check: this happened on August 19, 2016 @ 11:30am!
Reality check again: going up to an altar at age eight and accepting Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and saying you are a Christian when you are constantly obsessing about doctors and teachers, is not being the Real Christian!
Get real? Yes!

Take a look at this devotional that I did this morning:
1. I am just starting in the process of regeneration. God is continuing to work on me in the area of true growth in my walk with him.
2. Fear that my mother and brother and my family will turn their backs on me is what is keeping me from believing that God can restore in me the parts that are dead and broken.
3. The something more that God is calling me to is publicly sharing my faith especially with my family.

Genesis 2:7 NIV
[7] Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
John 8:3-11 NIV
[3] The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group [4] and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. [5] In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" [6] They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. [7] When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her." [8] Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. [9] At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. [10] Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" [11] "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
Romans 6:3-4 NIV
[3] Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? [4] We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV
[18] And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Lord Jesus I thank you for these people who read my posts. I ask that you would bless each one and prepare them for eternity with you! In your name amen.

If you pray to receive Jesus and have come to the Cross, you will be saved!
If you don't, you will experience permanent separation from him: that is Hell! And you don't want to fall under his crashing judgment!
So how will you live your life? The choice is up to you: reject or receive!

Praying for all of you!
Blessings!

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=N24sCXaU0Wk

Tatiana

Confessing your past and moving beyond this Life: have you come to the Cross?

Nothing satisfies then the love of Jesus! He loves you and poured out his love for you on the Cross! All of it!
The least you can do is pray to receive this gift of Salvation. When you come to the Cross and receive Him as Lord and Savior, your life begins to change.
A.B.C. is the way to Christ:
Accept: the fact that you are a sinner in need deeply for a Savior.
Believe: that while you sinned, God the Father loved you so much that he sent his one and only Son as an atoning final sacrifice on the Cross and his blood was poured out for the forgiveness of your sins.
Confess: him as Lord and Savior and the Leader of your life and ask him into your heart and confess your sins as well.

Jesus is after you, the ultimate question is will you chase after him and him Alone.

Yours in Christ,
Tatiana

We no longer have to live empty, wounded or starved for affection because we can live in the DEEP lush environment in knowing and realizing that Jesus loves you and I!

Take a look at these videos and tell me what you think below: http://shorelinechurch.org/sermon-videos/.

Oye, tal vez podamos trabajar juntos. ¡Comenta abajo!
¡Bendiciones!

Just Like Our Ancestors in Fits of Rage: Are We blaming others on our own anger and bitterness?

Does everything upset you all the time? Maybe sometimes?

Maybe you're typing on a keyboard and the wrong word get typed, or maybe your at work and your boss or a coworker says something to you or about you that so easily offends you. Or maybe you loose your house keys that were once inside your purse and finding them minutes later does not cheer you up.

Whatever the case, do NOT blame your genetics and/or parent's habits saying you developed that from them. It's: YOU!  You're the one getting snappy and upset because things are not going your way.

Reality check: I am not just talking to you, I am talking about myself. I tend to get mad over small things like paperclips or working on a lesson and I accidentally type the wrong word. I will be on my phone sometimes (or all the time) and I will get upset and mad at whatever I typed because I made a mistake that was my fault. It happens to the best of us!

The bible makes it CLEAR:

Ephesians 4:31New International Version (NIV)

31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
I should get rid of this too! Hey, maybe we can work on it together. Comment below!
Blessings!

A Sinful Attitude Versus A Righteous Life: How to Let go of Anger and Resentment

Lots of people know what I mean when I say "sin" or "sins." Most people don't.

Those of you who are in Christ Jesus know what I am talking about. Below, is an answer to a question that I have to share with you:

A person knows this because they do not feel the Lord's presence in the midst of what they are facing because of their sin. Dark areas that are hindering my life are: 1. Saying mean comments through text messages when the other party did not mean what they said, and 2. butting into other people's business when it is not my turn to speak. Yes, I will confess and also offer these areas up to Jesus in repentance so I can be clean before Him.

This answer has to deal with sin.

Sin is extremely offensive to God and God alone! The bible says that against God and only God have we sinned and done what is evil in his sight, so he is right in his verdict and justified when he judges.

It starts with telling our Big Daddy God: "I'm dirty, daddy. I need a bath." Let Him cleanse you from head to toe. Be prepared to squirm though when he reminds you to wash behind your ears like a little toddler.

So what do you have in your life that is sinful? I would absolutely love to pray for you!

Compartir a continuación comentando!

Surrendering The Not-so Easy Way: What part of your Life do you need to let go of?

This is true if you are counting the number of songs or rap that I hear day to day.

Here is an answer to a bible study question that I thought I might share with you:

They believe that there is a God but do not follow Him. Therefore, they believe that there ways of music, for example, can satisfy their hunger for a fulfillment found only in Christ Jesus himself. They believe also, that they will not be judged because "only bad and terrible people" go to Hell and are Judged and not them.

This is true that most people today believe there is a God, but do NOT worship Him or pay homage to Him which is a biblical term used to display worship/honor.

To worship, you need to fall on your face before the Lord God Almighty and give Him EVERYTHING you have or think that you need.

To worship means to surrender. To surrender means to let go of everything that you have. The Greek word for surrender is: παράδοση and the definition of surrender is found here: Definitions of surrender
verb
cease resistance to an enemy or opponent and submit to their authority.

Biblically speaking, when we surrender, we feel a HUGE sense of peace that is only found in Christ Jesus Himself.

So where in your life do you need to surrender? Share below by commenting!

Blessings!
