¡Bendiciones!

Idols and More: How to Avoid thinking Extra high of a person

Don't worship other gods is what we hear recorded in Leviticus! Over and over again we hear that God is the God of do overs. How is this true?
It's an example that we see throughout scripture. Now, I am not going to go in the details but I will SAFELY tell you what: thinking highly of someone or something is putting them ABOVE God the Almighty Creator of all things and people.
The Lord gets jealous when we do this even though he is slow to get angry and is abounding in love and faithfulness.
When you start to think highly of someone (a lot) and putting them above Christ, remember the book of Leviticus is FULL of wonderful words of the various laws the Lord put out for the Israelites and still for you and me today!

Blessings!

¿Qué viene a tu mente?

A Thousand Words Are Worth A Picture? I Think You Have "it" Wrong

What do you think when you see a picture that many times ISN'T worth a thousand words? What comes to your mind?

https://iluvbingjcsbride.blogspot.com/2017/03/pictures-worth-what-what-real-truth-is.html

If you listen carefully to what this singer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8D_PHV78bc is trying to communicate to us as believers and unbelievers, you will understand what it means when I announce publicly that the following saying is NOT true; it is a lie:
"A picture is worth a thousand words!"

Wow, really? Yes, really!

I am giving another link to an article: https://www.ucg.org/vertical-thought/a-thousand-words-are-worth-a-picture, which can be twisted at times. That's if you are not careful.

I hope this educates you in the Faith like never before.

Depression and Suicidal Thoughts come together to create what? Let's be healed in Jesus name

I hope and pray that those reading this post (on depression that is) will understand what it means to be  full of the joy of the Holy Spirit: Joy meant like after a mother, if you are one, giving birth to a newborn.
No, I am not talking about the type of joy that is all smiles, look again at what I just said above.

¡Bendiciones!

Lessons to be learned about Pedestaling "Fathers"

I just learned a hard lesson: When a family member dies, don't ever try to replace that person with someone who is nice.
My dad died over a decade ago as you well know. But ever since a pastor came into my life, all I have been focusing on is how I can tell him that he is like a father to me. Quite frankly, that is pedestaling.
https://iluvbingjcsbride.blogspot.com/2017/03/gods-versus-one-true-god-how-to-avoid.html
We are called to be stewards of light; not obsess over pastors just because our father's death startled us.
It's a painful experience, but we are grown in the end. I hope this teaches you and I a HUGE lesson about Who your Heavenly Father is.

Blessings!

¡Bendiciones!

Breaking Our Hearts? Why not Let God make us New Ones!

Sometimes I feel that someone like a man or woman cause us harm like breaking our hearts.
It's true that most of us experience heartbreak after heartbreak. But do you know Who will never break your heart unless it is to make it: Jesus!
He breaks us to make us the bible says.
I, once again, have been through relationship after relationship and had my heart broken so many times I just don't cry about it anymore!
Why you may ask?
Because I found my Man and he found me: his Name means Comforter and Friend: Jesus Christ.
Yes, Jesus the Messiah who bled and died for my sins and yours LOVES you so much that no matter what you have been through with a man or woman whether rape or incest with family, he LONGS to hold you CLOSE and be more intimate with you than your heart has the strength or power to imagine!
Imagine that! The God of the universe came down in flesh to be like us and dwell among us!
Now, he wants to be close up and personally DEEP with you in love and assurance! Man tell me about love!
I pray that this post encourages you to be more and more intimate and deeply personal with Jesus!

Blessings!

Gente Agradable y cómo evitarlo: Reality check!

People Pleasing and how to avoid it: Reality check!

Looking at yourself through the eyes of love can sometimes be a painful process. How?

https://iluvbingjcsbride.blogspot.com/2017/02/looking-at-yourself-through-eyes-of-love.html

Sometimes, it is painful because you don’t want to admit that you want other people to like you.

What I mean by liking you is how it is people pleasing. People pleasing is very dangerous to the Christian faith.

Here’s the deal: there are people out there who will not be pleased no matter how many times you refuse to say yes, and there are other people who will not stop liking you even if you say no to them.

See you soon.

Blessings!

¡Vamos a hacerlo!

¡Bendiciones!

Pasajes clave: 1 Timoteo 5: 7, Romanos 9:19, Génesis 43: 9, Génesis 44:10, Proverbios 28:10

Blame Game? Don't blame others but be honest with yourself

Don’t blame the other person! You’ve heard it said before.

But, you know what I learned? I learned that in most conflicts, I have two paths I can travel. I can: 1. Choose the path of pride which by the way happens to blame the other person for something that they might not have done, or 2. I can be honest and fully admit where I went wrong and apologize asking God for forgiveness.

www.proverbs31.org can help you out with apologizing when you have done something wrong versus blaming the other party.

The “blame game” is common is all areas of our lives but it needs to quit! We can work together by looking at and studying the passages I will mention below.

Praying for more honesty and less blame is my idea here. Let’s Do It!

Blessings!

He estado ahí.

Harming yourself or others: The reality of Suicidal thoughts and possible actions

Have you ever felt compliant to harming yourself or another person? I have been there. I still have a mental illness but I am maintaining my integrity.

The blog post below is about my mental instability unfolding in an ugly form.

About a year after my father’s death, I attempted suicide. I am stable now but my honest guess is that I missed my father who is in heaven and honestly, I did not know how to properly deal with it.

Read the blog and comment below if you are able to. No obligation.

Take care,

"A tu servicio", respondió. David dijo: "¡Mefiboset!" "A tu servicio", respondió.

¡Bendiciones!

Persons with Disabilities Are Underrated and overlooked by normalpeople: Stop Bullying others please

Treating someone who has a disability with contempt is not okay at all!
Here is a response to a devotional that I finished this morning that might relate to your situation if you have a disability and have been treated unfairly by others.

1. I tend to respond to people with disabilities in a way that says the following when they unintentionally irritate me, "you need to STOP NOW!"
2. Jesus' example of the woman and her disability teach me to be more and more kind to those who are struggling with their disability.
3. I need to honestly see Elena as Jesus sees her.

1 Samuel 16:6-7 NIV
[6] When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, “Surely the Lord's anointed stands here before the Lord.” [7] But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
2 Samuel 9:1-13 NIV
[1] David asked, “Is there anyone still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan's sake?” [2] Now there was a servant of Saul's household named Ziba. They summoned him to appear before David, and the king said to him, “Are you Ziba?” “At your service,” he replied. [3] The king asked, “Is there no one still alive from the house of Saul to whom I can show God's kindness?” Ziba answered the king, “There is still a son of Jonathan; he is lame in both feet.” [4] “Where is he?” the king asked. Ziba answered, “He is at the house of Makir son of Ammiel in Lo Debar.” [5] So King David had him brought from Lo Debar, from the house of Makir son of Ammiel. [6] When Mephibosheth son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, he bowed down to pay him honor. David said, “Mephibosheth!” “At your service,” he replied. [7] “Don't be afraid,” David said to him, “for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table. ” [8] Mephibosheth bowed down and said, “What is your servant, that you should notice a dead dog like me?” [9] Then the king summoned Ziba, Saul's steward, and said to him, “I have given your master's grandson everything that belonged to Saul and his family. [10] You and your sons and your servants are to farm the land for him and bring in the crops, so that your master's grandson may be provided for. And Mephibosheth, grandson of your master, will always eat at my table.” (Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.) [11] Then Ziba said to the king, “Your servant will do whatever my lord the king commands his servant to do.” So Mephibosheth ate at David's table like one of the king's sons. [12] Mephibosheth had a young son named Mika, and all the members of Ziba's household were servants of Mephibosheth. [13] And Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem, because he always ate at the king's table; he was lame in both feet.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 NIV
[16] Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. [17] For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. [18] So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

There is a massive difference between having a disability and not having one. I am not going to explain it because it is obvious to me what it means to have a disability and be teased and mistreated everyday.

Somehow, the church needs to step up to the plate: https://drgrcevich.wordpress.com/2016/02/09/what-are-the-stats-on-disability-and-church/.

I hope and pray that this blog post inspires you to be your best and to remember not to "fake it till you make it" but faith it till you make it! Amen?

Blessings!
