Obedience and Faith: How to be Submissive towards those who are placed in our lives in authority over us. Let's talk.

Doing something new can be scary sometimes. This is true for all of us. Focus on what God would want you to do, not what others want you to do,
But if someone in authority asks you to do something and you have read God's word that morning and prayed, you need to do it unless it is contrary to His word.
I am not saying that if that person asks you to do something, you check with God's word. No. What I am saying is if the request/task is demanding and they want it done NOW,  don't take time and slack off, Do It!
Deuteronomy 5:33
Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.
The bible makes this clear to obey authority figures of everyone!

Not one person on this earth, should be disobeyed if authority was given to them unless you are being told to worship an idol other than the One True God who is Jesus Christ.

So, what am I saying?

I am saying that those that are in authority, NEED OBEDIENCE from everyone. So don't deny your leaders, teachers, police officers, and everyone who God has placed in your and others lives.

Blame Does Not Come with a Nametag: How to avoid blaming others when it's not really their fault

Someone was one day having coffee with her friend, when she realized she was having a headache from her friend's perfume. She told her she was allergic to the scent but her friend told her she was not wearing the perfume.
Does that sound familiar? Do you ever blame others for your problems?

I do it too! Maybe it's time we stopped unfairly blaming others for something they did not do when the reality is it's us!

Sometimes, though, it's necessary to accept the blame for ourselves and not others.

Lord Jesus we thank you that we can come before you and ask for forgiveness from our Father through you. Thank you that even though we do things that sound like someone else did them, you convict us through your Holy Spirit and tell us right from wrong. Help us to less blame others and make up for mistakes that are our own. We thank you Lord God in advance for what you are able to do and speak into our lives. We praise you Jesus. Thy will be done. Looking to other people for approval: Don't do it, it's not biblical!

It's true that we are supposed to look to God for our approval,not others! Honestly, I struggle with this!
So I am challenging myself to ask questions: 1. Will this person's approval differ from God's? and 2. Can any part of this approval be tied to trying to please this person and allowing their opinion to scar my heart as they might not agree with everything I say?

You see, real opinions should not come from people for God's opinion is godly not man's. That being said Jesus was at a wedding once when he was performing miracles and people were believing in him, but how that passage states the he would no entrust himself to people for he knew there hearts.
People's opinions come and you need to accept only God's approval. It is the only approval we can count on and his approval isn't based on who we are or what we could do only based on who he is and His Son's death on the Cross.

John 2:23-25 NIV
[23] Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name. [24] But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. [25] He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person.

The bible makes it clear that when we do something as read in these verses and want others approval, we need to look to God as mentioned above. Now I hope this encourages you to look only to Him who is Christ Jesus, and not others for approval on ANYTHING!

9/11 Verssus Day of Adversity in the Spirit: How to look to Jesus Almighty for Help about Past Attacks

Okay, here's the news flash: I have a LOT on my mind so here we go!
I thought that the reason I would be in shock and in tears would be because of my Christmas dilemma.
Apparently, that is NOT the case!
It's the fact that September 11, 2016 is the 15th year anniversary of 9/11 which contributes to the worst attack yet in American history! Yes, I don't know much about politics or presidents, but spending 15 years later still searching for answers is enough for me.

Living God, we thank you for America and her stand against terrorism. We ask Living Jesus we thank you that this country does not stand on her own,  and we thank you for your might and Power to help us overcome our differences as America's children. We thank you that you will be glorified in Power whether we know you as Lord and Savior or not. Please change our minds and hearts especially as we approach our upcoming election season. Be with us Americans as we go throughout each day and may you Jesus Christ, Lord of all, be glorified in the midst. Thy will be done. We pray this in Jesus name, amen!

Let's face it, we've all been there. Where? The bible gives us a clue below:
1. The things I take pride in are my abilities and people around me. Yes I have trouble believing that I can make a difference in my community because I am believing a lie that I can reach everyone in the world.
2. I have reached over eight thousand people with my blogs and I am making an impact on everyone who reads those blogs.
3. I am less proud through God's work in knowing that only He is using me and nobody else is using me. I feel more humble in realizing that He is the Godhead that is going to continue to be glorified through this ministry!

Diamonds and the beauty of being formed into one out of dust

He is making diamonds out of us! Diamonds are beautiful when they are made out of people in terms of letting us be refined out of love like the song says.
Here is a devotional that might relate to that subject:
1. Death has touched my life through me crying in church as I listened to the sermon one Sunday morning. I was reminded of my father's death through pastor Kevin's message and cried aloud.
2. God has done this by reminding me of the fact that I will one day be resurrected from death in the blink of an eye.
3. I can help my friend Kenza by speaking comfort into her life and reminding her of Christ and his love for the first time.

Diamonds are forever beautiful and costly. In order for a diamond ring for instance to be made, it has to be crushed and burned in the fire!

The truth is that growth is tough in this life and what if our failures are leading us into our success?

Here is a look at a one day's devotional I did a couple days ago:
 1. The kind of legacy that I am leaving for others is a love legacy and honesty. 
2. I can make pleasing God the main desire of my heart by bring obedient to the Cross and the word. Tatiana did what was right in the eyes of the Lord her God.
3. Brittany and Kay. What I want them to remember about me is how I was in love with Jesus and took the bible seriously. I also want them to remember who God was through me.


Ephesians 2:6-10 NIV
[6] And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, [7] in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. Deshierbe. Parece fácil ¿verdad? ¡Ya pues! Podemos llevar a cabo las cosas malas; es así de sencillo ¿verdad?

Verificación de la realidad: no es fácil!

Permítanme comenzar con dos del viernes hace cuando realmente llegué a la Cruz y aceptado el regalo de salvación de Dios a través de su Hijo Jesús y lo recibido como Señor y Salvador en mi vida! Los cambios se han hecho y es obvio para cualquiera que no lo conoce como tal!

Mi pensamiento ha cambiado, mi actitud ha cambiado por completo y, por último, tengo la mentalidad llena de Cristo.

¿Quién sabía que la religión podría ser tan divertido? En realidad no, no es religión.

Esta vez se trata de FE! Me refiero a que esta vez! No miento a nadie!

Adelantándose a los ocho años en una iglesia bautista no es suficiente porque nunca me rendí completamente mi vida completa a Cristo!

Ahora usted lo consigue? Así que hablemos de cultivo frente a la escarda.

Para cultivar una planta significa que podar la planta lo que significa que limpiarlo primero y luego se toma y se mueve a la basura para hacer espacio para un mayor crecimiento. Como resultado del crecimiento, a aprender más en el proceso. Esto se llama hacer las cosas juntos y poda de nuestro jardín (s). Para podar medios para limpiar. La limpieza es buena, pero se necesita tiempo.

Ahora, para el deshierbe.

When I was 8 years old I came forward but never really followed through on accepting Christ as my Lord and Savior. So, I was playing games! 

It all comes down to the simple fact that yesterday at work, I broke down and wept bitterly in my heart and soul begging God to forgive me and cleanse me fully and make me new in Him! It was at that point in time that I crawled coming to the Cross and accepted his gift of Salvation wholeheartedly!

Haciéndose pasar por la fe cristiana frente verdaderamente viven en lapalabra: mi última lucha con el que me hizo "nueva"

Te amo lectores. Sí, lo dije, te amo! ¿Por qué?

Debido a que un nuevo creyente en Cristo, sé donde voy cuando salgo de este planeta. El amor del Padre está en mí totalmente y queda conmigo!

Ahora, ¿por qué decir eso? Debido a que todas las veces que estaba actuando como un cristiano que estaba "jugando los cristianos." ¿Cómo?

Cuando tenía 8 años de edad que vine hacia delante, pero en realidad nunca seguido a través de aceptar a Cristo como mi Señor y Salvador. Por lo tanto, yo estaba jugando juegos!

Todo se reduce al simple hecho de que ayer en el trabajo, me quebré y lloré amargamente en mi corazón y el alma pidiendo a Dios que me perdone y me limpie completamente y me hace nueva en Él! Fue en ese momento en el tiempo que me arrastré venir a la Cruz y acepté su regalo de la salvación de todo corazón!

Animales y la naturaleza: cuando llegue poco a uno, asegúrese de quetiene a Jesús en ti

No me han preguntado esto muchas veces, pero, te pregunto: ¿cómo se hace todo esto? A decir verdad yo no!

Me levanto por la mañana y me preparo para el día. Sin embargo, aquí es lo que este devocional me enseñó una mañana:

1. Hace un tiempo una mujer la hizo conmigo mediante el pago de mi sándwich en el metro y no aceptar el cambio hacia atrás. Respondí con un agradecimiento a ella.

2. Honestamente no recuerdo cuando fue malinterpretado mi bondad. Me hizo sentir triste sin embargo.

3. La bondad que Dios me está pidiendo para otorgar a alguien que está ayudando a conseguir mi amigo en el coche de mi proveedor de servicios.

Animals and nature: when you get bit by one, make sure you have Jesusinyou

I don't get asked this a lot but, I am asking you: how do you do it all? Truthfully I don't!

I get up in the morning and get ready for the day. Yet, here is what this devotional taught me one morning:

1. A while ago a woman showed kindness to me by paying for my sandwich at Subway and not accepting change back. I responded with a thank you to her.

2. Honestly I don't recall when my kindness was misinterpreted. It made me feel sad though. 

3. Kindness that God is asking me to bestow upon someone is helping my friend get in my care provider's car. 

Proverbs 11:16-17 NIV

[16] A kindhearted woman gains honor, but ruthless men gain only wealth. [17] Those who are kind benefit themselves, but the cruel bring ruin on themselves.

Obvious direction: how to be there for others other than yourself

Have you ever been in search of a mentor to be able to be there for you? 

I agree that we all need a mentor, but sometimes we have to be one. 

Take a look at the devotional below:

1. I see Special as an Elijah faithfully serving God in my community. I see Josephine as an Elisha looking for a mentor. 

2. I can really open up my ears and listen to the godly women in my life who will help guide me in my spiritual walk with the Lord. 

3. Jasmine could use a mentor. I will help her by being there for her and helping her in her walk with Jesus. 

1 Kings 19:19-21 NIV

[19] So Elijah went from there and found Elisha son of Shaphat. He was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen, and he himself was driving the twelfth pair. Elijah went up to him and threw his cloak around him. [20] Elisha then left his oxen and ran after Elijah. “Let me kiss my father and mother goodbye,” he said, “and then I will come with you.” “Go back,” Elijah replied. “What have I done to you?” [21] So Elisha left him and went back. He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his servant.

Titus 2:1-5 NIV

[1] You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine. [2] Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. [3] Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. [4] Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, [5] to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.

See, I warned you! You know that you need a mentor in order to grow in your faith! You also need to become a mentor to other men and women.
