Doing Fun Things with our Family Members: How to enjoy life to the full with the ones you love

Dad: We are going to have fun and stay at home.
Kids: Yeah, we can play house in our house!! I’ll grab the dollhouse!!
Didn’t you just love being a kid? I mean, am I the only one who enjoyed playing with her siblings?

Entender el corazón de la adoración
¿Has notado alguna vez que la adoración no es todo acerca de ti? ¿Qué hay de otros creyentes?Este es otro devocional que acabo de terminar: 1. La adoración me ha sostenido en el pasado alentándome como familia que adoran juntos y no sólo en la iglesia sino juntos como comunidad.2. Dios me ha llamado a compartir el evangelio con mis amigos en el trabajo que no tienen una relación con este Dios santo. Sí, seré como Isaías e iré a donde Dios me guíe.
1 Reyes 17: 1-6 NVI[1] Elías, el Tisbita, de Tisbe en Galaad, dijo a Acab: "Como el Señor, el Dios de Israel, vive, a quien sirvo, no habrá rocío ni lluvia en los próximos años, si no fuera por mi palabra. [2] Entonces la palabra de Jehová vino a Elías: [3] "Sal de aquí, volved hacia el oriente y escondid en el barranco de Kerith, al este del Jordán. [4] Y beberéis del arroyo, y yo mandaré a los cuervos que os sirvan de alimento. 5 Y él hizo lo que Jehová le había dicho. Fue al barranco de Kerith, al este del Jordán, y se quedó allí. [6] Los cuervos le trajeron pan y carne por la mañana, y pan y carne por la tarde, y bebió del arroyo.Isaías 50: 4-10 NVI[4] El Señor Soberano me ha dado una lengua bien instruida, para conocer la palabra que sostiene a los cansados. Por tanto he puesto mi rostro como pedernal, y sé que no me avergonzaré. [8] El que me vindica está cerca. ¿Quién entonces me acusará? ¡Vamos a enfrentarnos! ¿Quién es mi acusador? ¡Que se enfrente a mí! [9] Es el Señor Soberano quien me ayuda. ¿Quién me condenará? Todos se gastarán como un vestido; Las polillas las comen. [10] ¿Quién de vosotros teme al Señor y obedece la palabra de su siervo? Que el que camina en la oscuridad, que no tiene luz, confíe en el nombre del Señor y confíe en su Dios.Hebreos 13: 20-21 NVI[20] Ahora bien, el Dios de paz, que por la sangre del pacto eterno trajo de los muertos a nuestro Señor Jesús, ese gran Pastor de las ovejas, [21] te equipa con todo lo bueno para hacer su voluntad, y que él Obra en nosotros lo que le es agradable, por Jesucristo, a quien sea gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

Understanding the Heart of Worship
Have you ever noticed that worship is not all about you? How about with other believers?
This is another devotional I recently finished: 1. Worship has sustained me in the past by encouraging me like family that worship together and not just at church but together as a community.
2. God has called me to share the gospel with my friends at work who do not have a relationship with this holy God. Yes, I will be like Isaiah and go where God leads me.
1 Kings 17:1-6 NIV
[1] Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, "As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word." [2] Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: [3] "Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. [4] You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there." [5] So he did what the Lord had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. [6] The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.
Isaiah 50:4-10 NIV
[4] The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed. [5] The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears; I have not been rebellious, I have not turned away.
