The One God I don't know versus the on Supreme being who exists as whom?

How does God Almighty show up in his mighty power? Good question.

In ancient times, the Egyptians enslaved the people of Israel and would NOT let them go free to offer sacrifices to the Lord their God. Why?

Because Egypt had many gods of power but one problem: they did not revere the one true God: Jesus Christ. 

So one by one God began to destroy the pegan gods: Re, the god of the Nile river, the god of frogs and the god of dust of the earth. 

Wow. There are certainly a lot of gods. But the reality is there is only one God who exists eternally as: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 

The next time someone says they believe in God, ask them if they believe in the one Supreme Being who exists as the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Es un ejemplo que vemos a través de las Escrituras. Ahora, no voy a entrar en los detalles, pero te diré SEGURO lo que: pensar altamente de alguien o algo es ponerlos sobre Dios, el Todopoderoso Creador de todas las cosas y personas.

El Señor se pone celoso cuando hacemos esto, aunque es lento para enojarse y abunda en amor y fidelidad.

Cuando empieces a pensar en alguien (mucho) ya ponerlo por encima de Cristo, recuerda que el libro de Levítico está lleno de maravillosas palabras de las diversas leyes que el Señor puso para los israelitas y todavía para ti y para mí hoy.

Idols and More: How to Avoid thinking Extra high of a person

Don't worship other gods is what we hear recorded in Leviticus! Over and over again we hear that God is the God of do overs. How is this true?

It's an example that we see throughout scripture. Now, I am not going to go in the details but I will SAFELY tell you what: thinking highly of someone or something is putting them ABOVE God the Almighty Creator of all things and people. 

The Lord gets jealous when we do this even though he is slow to get angry and is abounding in love and faithfulness. 

When you start to think highly of someone (a lot) and putting them above Christ, remember the book of Leviticus is FULL of wonderful words of the various laws the Lord put out for the Israelites and still for you and me today!

Understanding the Heart of Worship

Have you ever noticed that worship is not all about you? How about with other believers?

This is another devotional I recently finished: 1. Worship has sustained me in the past by encouraging me like family that worship together and not just at church but together as a community. 
2. God has called me to share the gospel with my friends at work who do not have a relationship with this holy God. Yes, I will be like Isaiah and go where God leads me. 



1 Kings 17:1-6 NIV
[1] Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, "As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word." [2] Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: [3] "Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan.
